After a quiet few weeks in August there has been a hive of activity on the Micra over the last few weekends, fitting the new engine and brakes.
The new engine spec is :-
CGA3 1348cc Bottom End, fitted with a CG3 ported & polished head and inlet manifold. This is fitted with Grp. A (773) Cams and and has been built up by Matt Humphris one of the leading Micra engine builders. This is running a Nistune modified ECU, mapped to the engine and cams.
This runs with the other previous mods and 1.0ltr (4.4 diff) gearbox.
To help with the braking, we have upgraded to the Nissan Almera (N15) 1.4 Vented set-up with 232mm vented discs, and calipers which have a larger piston than the Micra calipers.
