After returning from an excellent trip to help Suze do media work for Rally Barbados it is all systems go with four events in five weekends.
Just a few days after we land (so any cone penalties will be blamed entirely on jet lag!) we are entered in the WSMC Targa Rally at Debden airfield. Its been a few years since we have done a targa rally at Debden and our first WSMC targa so it will be interesting to see their take on these events.
Then after a weekend free of competing (allowing for some prep work and a visit to the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power) it is off to Norfolk to run as Car 0 for the East Anglian Classic Rally where I am Deputy Clerk of the Course for the event.
Then it is on to possibly the busiest weekend of the year. The weekend starts of with the Goodwood FoS on the Friday spectating in the morning and marshalling the stop line of the rally stage. Then on the Saturday it is collecting wheels and tyres in the morning and then after that karting for my brother in laws stag do. Then it is a quick dash home before heading to North Weald for the 7Oaks MC Autosolo on the Sunday.
Then finally the weekend after that it is a weekend off from events, so time for re-prep work.
Then the final event in this mad run of events, a return to Weathersfield airfield for the Chelmsford MC Targa Rally. Which last year was one of the best events of the year, so one to look forward too. I just hope its not quite so hot this year.
