Pre event prep work

I often refer to doing pre event prep work on the rally car, but what does this really mean?

It is basically a full check over the car to ensure she is ready to do battle once again. The usual list includes :-

– change oil and filter
– full bolt check of all suspension, brake and engine mounts etc
– bleeding front calipers
– check front pads (change if needed) and then bedding the new pads in
– adjust spring heights, if needed to suit the event
– check all lights work
– check seats and belts
– check handbrake is working
– check for any gravel rash damage to the car and treat with krust and paint
– sort out wheels and tyres for next event

Plus deal with any damage/issues from the previous event
